The “thank you“ section !

I am not going to name everybody as this would require an other site ! But I thought it was important to give information, about some of the people I work with, in a more personal way. Keep an eye on this section as I will update it regularly.
I would like to thank Georges Paczynski, for his advice and guidance. Many of the thoughts displayed on the website are taken from his book “The art of Melodic Drumming”. I have discovered so many things since I started to work with him two years ago. It has opened a new field of possibilities. A great experience to learn with someone who is not only an accomplished musician but also a cultured and warm person.
I would recommend to anybody who can read French the two books he wrote about an history of jazz drumming. There are many books on the subject but his approach is unique. These two books (soon a third one) are well documented, with many transcriptions, musical examples, pictures, references etc… To the best of my knowledge this is the best work on the subject.
Georges is looking for a publisher in England or the states. If you are interested, you can contact me, I will forward your details to Georges.
