It has been a busy and enjoyable summer! I have had the chance to do a gig with Ian Hunt. It is always great to play with Ian and Nigel Portman Smith on Bass. I have been playing with several bands mainly around London, some gigs in Manchester and Birmingham. It was nice to discover more than just London. I have also had the pleasure to play the Boaters in Kingston for the first time.

The Wives and Servants album is ready. There is a launch night in November and I should be playing one song live with them. I will soon post some audio extracts.
I also should add soon the video we did record with my Lady Jane in Paris in the new Year. Some footage can be viewed on my MySpace page.

I took part to a BBC TV programme as a consultant following a celebrity who is learning to play the drums. The programme should be broadcast in February 2007.
I will also post as soon as it is ready some extracts of the new audio recording we did with my Lady Jane. It has just been mixed, the mastering should take place within the next few days. It is maybe not the most technically perfect recording we have ever done, but it is the one I am the most proud of. It reflects the band as it is, it did capture the spirit of the songs and I pretty much did record all the drum parts in one or two takes, with no editing done. The real thing!

I recently received some Mp3’s, rough mixes of the Wives and Servants new album : the recording is almost finished and the mix should take place soon.
I’ll be in France in june to perform “Novecento”. The Belgian television is currently doing a film on Paul Anrieu (comedian) and will be there to do some footage of the rehearsals and the gig.
I hope I’ll soon be able to put online some extracts of the DVD we shot in Paris with my Lady Jane.
I went sometime ago to Fiona Apple’s gig at the Victoria Apollo theatre in London. I really enjoyed the show ! The drummer was brilliant ! If you have any informations on who he is (I can’t remember his name !), please contact me! Feel free to contact me anyway, as it is always a pleasure to hear from you !

I’ll be playing on march the 23rd with My Lady Jane at the Water Rats. The first gig under the new name of the band which was called Versus not such long ago !
I also recorded a new album, produced by Jay Stapley, for a band called “Wives and Servants”. Roger Waters meets Berthold Brecht ! It was a great experience ! The album should be finished for the summer.

I am back from Paris where we had a great time with the band. We wrote new songs and shot a promotional video directed by Fabien Peborde who recently worked with Johnny Halliday, Jimmy Cliff and many others. I will put some extracts on the site very soon.
We are still waiting for the release of Ian Hunt’s new album. It is mixed, it should be mastered within the next few days.

I will be in Paris with Versus for two weeks around New Year’s Eve, in a studio, for some pre-production for the album.
I’ll play with Ian Hunt in December in London. The new album is almost mixed. It should be released in January. Some amazing musicians participated in the recording : Nigel Portman, Steve Pearce, Martin Ditcham, among others ! You can check Ian’s website for more information.
